Palace for Life-stiftelsen er en veldedig organisasjon som jobber for å bedre livene til vanskeligstilte i Sør-London. Stiftelsen er en offisiell samarbeidspartner med Crystal Palace FC og arrangerer hvert år en innsamlingsaksjon i form av en såkalt maratonmarsj hvor man kan sponse deltakerne med beløp som brukes i det veldedige arbeidet. I år går maratonmarsjen av stabelen 9. oktober og det arrangeres også en virtuell utgave, som gjør at også vi i Norge kan delta. Nedenfor kan dere lese mer om arrangementet.

We are Palace for Life Foundation, the official charity of Crystal Palace FC, working to improve the lives of young and disadvantaged people in south London through sport and the power of Palace. On October 9th 2021 we will be running our 5th anniversary Marathon March which is our flagship fundraising event, raising funds to help the young people in our community. We know that you may not be able to travel to Selhurst Park to take part in this year’s event, however we would love for you and everyone at CPFC Norway to join us virtually this year! For the first time, we will be officially running a Virtual Marathon March alongside the in-person walk. You will have 24 hours on Saturday 9th October 2021 to take on the 26.2 mile challenge on a route of your choice, wherever you are in the world.

The registration fee is £25 (£20 for half route, £10 under 18s) and we would also ask that all virtual walkers commit to raising a minimum of £300 each in sponsorship. All participants will receive a training programme upon sign-up and their Marathon March T-Shirt and finishers medal through the post once they have submitted confirmation of their completed walk and the minimum fundraising target being met.

You are also able to fundraise as a group or family, we ask that if you do you pledge to raise the following:

• Group of four = £600
• Group of five = £750
• Group of six = £900
• Group of 7+ = £1,000
